Food Safety Conversation for the month of February 2021 is on "Eat Right Campus: Opportunity to Make India Healthy". This will be held online on the 24th of February, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM IST. The objective of the conversation is to provide insights on why food safety is important, the best practices, and how people can take this forward in their neighborhood/workplace/anywhere where food is being made and served.

Eat Right India is an award-winning initiative by FSSAI which focuses on building a healthy India. Eat Right Campus is the part where companies, offices, and institutions can join the movement so that their employees get the confidence that the food they are eating is safe and healthy. This conversation will have representation from the company who have implemented this at their campus and also from FSSAI to talk about what it takes to implement this and the benefit of doing it.

The key parameters of ERC in this conversation is to provide its importance, the best practices, and how people can take this forward at their kitchens and cafeterias where food is being made and served. We have very knowledgeable panelists consisting of Eat Right Campus executors, a representative from the corporate house where ERC is implemented, and the regulators from FSSAI with whom we will be talking about the various aspects of Food Safety. We have Ms. Rijuta Pandav, Deputy Lead, Food Fortification Resource Centre (FFRC) at Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, Mr. Nishanth Narsipur, Food and Beverage Manager at Unilever, and Ms. Sarika Agarwal, Principal Consultant, Food Safety Works. The panel will be moderated by Ms. Surabhi Soral, Head, Regulatory & Compliance at Food Safety Works.
